About this artwork
It is a work done in oil and aerosol that portrays a rapper woman from the 80s, to which the artist gave a style, shape and character. Inspired by "African Primitive" art and pre-Hispanic cultures, worked with very characteristic elements of the author such as color and shape.

Pablo Benlliure is a painter, draftsman, and sculptor based in Mexico whose main artistic themes are inspired by the art of African and pre-Hispanic cultures, which he views as sincere and pure. In addition, Benlliure combines elements of naive art to form his own genre, which he calls "Afroprehispánico lúdico". He hopes that the combination of these elements, paired with vibrant colors, will elicit joy in the viewer.
