"SpinTrunk" is a conceptual exploration of perpetual motion and the dynamic energy inherent in the trunk form.
The work captures the subject in a state of rotation or centrifugation, transforming organic stability into an explosion of kinetic force.The central element is a 'Chuleta' Trunk form designed to be perceived in 3D and drawn within a Mixed Reality environment (OpenBrush VR). This 3D form is printed directly onto the 24X30 cm canvas.
The… technical process is key: the virtual image of rotation is stabilised by the print, but it is reignited through manual gesture (acrylics, markers). The physical intervention breaks the rigidity of the rendering, injecting vibration and depth. The result is a dynamic dialogue between the illusion of virtual movement and the static reality of the painting.
