The artist realizes this drawing entirely in pencil, in a contemporary figurative style, inspired by "So it is (if you think)", a play by Luigi Pirandello, one of the most important playwrights of the twentieth century, Italian writer and poet, winner of the Prize Nobel Prize for Literature in 1934. The scenography of the novel is built in the context of a small world of 'gossips' who see the certainties and taboos of knowledge put in crisis, commonplaces… not of what is but of what appears. The protagonists, in turn, a man, a mother-in-law and a wife (whom no one ever sees) have their "truths", in opposite antithesis to the vision of that provincial society.
