About this artwork
It is usual, while walking around Florence, to come across street artists such as actors, mini bands of musicians, jugglers, mimes, acrobats, stilt walkers, clowns, fakirs, storytellers and to be attracted by the intense energy they transmit. In this work, with vivid colors and dense, full-bodied brushstrokes, I focused attention on an evocative theatrical scene. I infused passion and vital energy into art, combining expressionism and fauvism with… touches of realism. The oil brought the bold colors and expressive shapes to life, telling a story of contrasts and harmonies. The figures, which become musical in their dynamic composition, transmit an emotional dance. This work will bring a breath of life and stimulating vibrations into the home.
« 'Beauty will save the world' by Dostoevsky is a symbolic phrase for me because of the therapeutic, magical, and mysterious content inherent in the logic of art. »
