About this artwork
In my work, I have woven expressionism with realism to explore the intimate union between humanity and nature. Using oil, I have brought this fusion to life, depicting a female figure, whose face and body emerge from vigorous green leaves and thin branches. It is a symbol of growth and resilience, inviting the viewer to reflect on our essential interconnection with the natural world. This painting brings a sense of peace and a renewed respect for… the environment to any space.
Paolo Braccini, a painter with an academic and experimental background, combines tradition and innovation using ancient techniques, oil, acrylic, resins, enamels and plaster. His work reflects an incessant aesthetic research, reworking various themes, from introspection to the surrounding environment. The artist is inspired by man's ability to find pure communion with the world around him. Nature, together with music and the environment, is a source of introspection and contemplation. Through his art, he tries to represent these moments of profound connection and to explore how man can recognize himself and find himself in different natural situations. It conveys the ambivalence of human emotions, between reassuring order and the charm of chaos.
