About this artwork
The work is part of the Segno e Suono series and captures the moment of improvisation and inspiration of the famous jazz master John Coltrane. “Trane,” with his perseverance and musical ethic, became pure energy, letting his music flow freely until it reached its “most intense and fervent expressive moment.” In his improvisation his essence emerges, the pure and sublime beauty of his sincerity and the need to express himself to the world with his… incisive sound. "Ordinamente" expresses its "chaos", the "middle moment" lights up red and its phrases act like fuel on the fire, inflaming the songs and the soul of the listener. The work has been exhibited in various exhibitions, in particular at the Mantua Biennale, where it received praise and mentions from critics Philippe Daverio and Paolo Levi.
Paolo Braccini, a painter with an academic and experimental background, combines tradition and innovation using ancient techniques, oil, acrylic, resins, enamels and plaster. His work reflects an incessant aesthetic research, reworking various themes, from introspection to the surrounding environment. The artist is inspired by man's ability to find pure communion with the world around him. Nature, together with music and the environment, is a source of introspection and contemplation. Through his art, he tries to represent these moments of profound connection and to explore how man can recognize himself and find himself in different natural situations. It conveys the ambivalence of human emotions, between reassuring order and the charm of chaos.
