About this artwork
Original floral work made from nature and inspired by the leaves and shrubs found in my garden. Intense blues and greens were used to give the set a stylized look. Pigments, acrylic but also oil pastels coexist on this canvas mounted on a stretcher. This is an original work, there is no copy, it is sold unframed, covered with a matt varnish and painted on the edges. It has a tie on the back and is ready to hang.

I define myself as an “emotion seeker”.
What I like: above all the color, ... but also the material, the texture!
Whatever my starting subject, I like to seize the moment, to associate the spontaneity of the gesture with the will to tame the material. I use pure or saturated color in wash... I let it circulate, I apply layers upon layers, I scrape, I search, I do not control everything that happens.... and finally I find.
My universe oscillates between figuration and abstraction, using pigments, ink, acrylic and/or watercolor which allow me fluidity and real freedom in my work, a work of superpositions of materials and colors which is constantly evolving.
