About this artwork
This original work using the "acrylic paint" technique is hand painted on stretched linen canvas and is one of the child portraits of contemporary artist Pascale White.
This work is unique, there is no impression of it. It was painted in France, it is varnished and is personally signed by the artist. It is a child's face, a figurative portrait made from a photo, painted with a brush and a spatula, with a pop art influence. For this series of portraits,… the artist chose a beige painted background to contrast with the bright colors used for the portrait, the canvas was varnished. The work is sold ready to be hung and framed (American box in raw wood).

« I define myself as a researcher of emotions. »
I define myself as an “emotion seeker”.
What I like: above all the color, ... but also the material, the texture!
Whatever my starting subject, I like to seize the moment, to associate the spontaneity of the gesture with the will to tame the material. I use pure or saturated color in wash... I let it circulate, I apply layers upon layers, I scrape, I search, I do not control everything that happens.... and finally I find.
My universe oscillates between figuration and abstraction, using pigments, ink, acrylic and/or watercolor which allow me fluidity and real freedom in my work, a work of superpositions of materials and colors which is constantly evolving.
