About this artwork
Into this work, I poured my passion for the abstract, intertwining acrylics, sand and small objects to create a tactile symphony. The warm, almost orange tones evoke a burning life force, while the textures and materials suggest a dialogue between the eroded past and the vibrant present. It's a celebration of resilience and imperfect beauty, intended to infuse energy and depth into whatever space becomes its home.

Pasquale Rapicano, born in Castellammare di Stabia, skilfully combines materials such as sand, iron, paper and jute with acrylic painting in his multi-material works. He uses rust as a distinctive element, a metaphor for damage to the world, alternating human and animal figures, in an incessant building and demolishing worlds. His works, full of exalted details, convey a whirlwind of emotions, from visceral torment over contemporary society to the suggestion of moments captured through facial expressions.
