About this artwork
Interlacing
In "Interlacing", Patrick Joosten weaves a tapestry of bodies, nested and intertwined in a complex dance of shapes and textures. The light brown monochrome palette gives an earthy feel to the room, grounding the ethereal quality of the composition.
Every body, every curve and every contour testifies to the human form. As the bodies intersect and overlap, they become something more than the sum of their parts in a movement that transcends… mere anatomy.
"Interlacing" is both individual and collective, a celebration of the complexity of the human body and its capacity for connection and communion.
Original artwork signed P. Joosten at the front and at the back.
Acrylic on canvas
Dimensions 95 x 95 x 3 cm. White wooden frame.
Sold with invoice and certificate of authenticity
