About this artwork
Title ABSTRACTION 2, creation on 9/07/2017.
Oil on canvas size 100x81 ABSTRACTION series.
“In nature, a hue that appears uniform is formed by the union of a host of diverse hues, perceptible only to the eye that can see.”
E. Delacroix.
This is probably the secret of a painting with a thousand shades: the in-depth observation of the subtlety of the play of light and colors in nature.

Patrick Marin is an award-winning French artist whose paintings have been exhibited in France, Belgium and the United States. In his artistic approach, he strives to give form to traces of the past or the future through multiple perceptions. Marin believes in playing with the senses and the meaning of life. His pieces translate the limits between the real and the unreal, allowing the sense of sight to "sink into infinity with an invitation to dream".
