Three pregnant young women stand together. They are closely connected by their shared life situation. They don't hide their pregnancies from the world, but stand confidently together, supporting one another. Their slender legs symbolize the vulnerability of their situation. They stand on tiptoe, thus performing the balancing act of the primal force of life. At the same time, these figures metaphorically represent all that is new and wants to be born… into the world through us humans. The new beginning, which, as Hermann Hesse said, always holds a certain magic.
This powerful sculpture brings energy, life, and a profound harmony to any room.
Patrick Niesel is a sculptor, painter, and draftsman trained at the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg; his preferred materials are wood, bronze, and terracotta. His realistic, figurative sculptures and drawings are characterized by expressive craftsmanship and a sensitive approach to themes such as parenthood, mindfulness, and inner experience. His works are deeply moving, as he masterfully captures the human essence and creates a quiet, emotional dialogue between figure and viewer.
