About this artwork
Rather than working from a fixed image, I build through layers—allowing structure to emerge the same way memory does. Some areas are deliberate, others are left behind and reworked until they find their place.
The composition is held together by blocks of color that act as anchors, while the movement underneath shifts and resists that structure.
The palette is intentional.
The cooler teals stabilize the surface, while the magenta field carries the… emotional weight. Neither dominates—they depend on each other.
This work marks a transition in my process—moving away from figures and allowing structure itself to hold meaning.
