About this artwork
I didn’t set out to define anything with this painting. It came together through layers—placed, removed, and reworked until a structure began to form on its own.
What I’m starting to understand now is that the composition isn’t fixed. It shifts depending on how you look at it—distance, angle, and light all change what reveals itself. Areas that feel grounded at one moment become unstable the next, and forms that seem hidden begin to surface.
The… work sits somewhere between control and instinct. There is a framework holding it together, but what lives inside that framework isn’t fully directed. It’s discovered over time.
This piece is part of my Internal Architecture series—where structure is present, but meaning continues to evolve.
