About this artwork
: This is a painting of my happy place where I like to take a dip on summer evenings before dinner. The painting is of Rabit Island just off the beach at Tauranga (Bay of plenty, New Zealand). It’s located on the East Coast of New Zealand’s North Island looking out towards the pacific. Unlike the New Zealand West Coast beaches that face the wild Tasman Sea, The East Coast beaches can be flat, tranquil and calm. I’m looking forward to spending a…
