About this artwork
Inspired by the red stemmed Cornus ( dogwood ) in spring time. Incorporates my characteristic subtle use of reflective paints to capture the light. Initialled on the front and signed on the back. The canvas is painted black on the sides so you may chose not to frame. Corded and ready to hang and supplied with a signed certificate of authenticity.

Paul J Best, an award-winning painter from the United Kingdom, has seen his expression as an artist grow alongside his profession as a landscape architect. He is instinctively drawn to seascapes, cityscapes, landscapes, and abstracts inspired by natural forms. Best’s impressionistic compositions are created using a palette knife, softened by brushwork.
