Paula Benard is a multidisciplinary artist based in Mexico whose works have been exhibited nationally. The central theme of her diverse works is nature. Benard remains wholly committed to landscapes, portraying their beauty and the "microcosms that they keep within". Influenced by both impressionism and expressionism, her compositions take form through a pastel color palette and "light abstractions". She creates using oils, wax, pastels, and pens on paper or canvas.
