About this artwork
In this work, I fused acrylic, collage, ink, and found objects to create a vibrant conglomeration of structures that evoke the complexity and beauty of urban spaces. Inspired by art brut and Impressionism, I sought to capture the impulsive and emotional essence behind everyday architecture, transposing it into a semi-abstract plane. Each element reflects part of my personal vision, attempting to connect with the observer through the multifaceted…
and chaotic reality of our urban lives, inviting reflection on our environment and our own existence within it. I used as my main structure a table that I dismantled and added a wooden slab. The houses were crafted from leftover portrait moldings covered with papier-mâché.
