About this artwork
The fruit of the quince is very old, in the Mediterranean world, it was traditionally used in food and sweets.
It is one of the first scents recorded in my childhood, smell and color go hand in hand, its warm yellow tones illuminate our home and gardens.

« I am a woman who likes to draw and paint, nature, humans, objects of daily life, and some animals. »
Paula Leiva is an award-winning Spanish artist whose paintings have been featured in both solo and group exhibitions nationally. As her parents were artists, she describes her experience as being like the baker's daughter, "you don't know anything else". Leiva describes her artistic expression simply and elegantly, as creating beauty. Her figurative compositions are created using watercolors and oils.
