About this artwork
The title is taken from Christian doctrine and means "the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit." Here, it's used ironically to represent a whimsical form in its three dimensions: as a line (the red line as a single dimension), as a plane (gray or two-dimensional), and finally, the support or canvas, which has volume and therefore three dimensions.
