This painting shows two women in heavy discussion. The body language of both women is such that the onlooker can conclude that they are not in agreement. What they are talking about is unknown, perhaps the African background with its masks has something to do with it, we probably never will know.

The images are always figurative but due to the usage of colourful planes and accentuated lines they sometimes give an almost abstract outlook.
