This artwork is part of a series of paintings showing handbags. In most paintings in this series, including this one, the prominent black line is just one single line, with only one beginning and one end, end never crossing. As a result the painting does not have much detail. The image consists of part of an arm, handbag and body, resulting in a somewhat abstract… impression. Blue is the dominant colour, which determines the appearance of the artwork. The orange handles accentuate it.
