About this artwork
The artist has always been lover of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles. This picture shows his interpretation of a window display with typical window frames which were so popular in those days. In the front a 'modern' girl is situated and the landscape at the back could be Italian. The painting is an early example of the way the artist started painting in what is now called his 'trademark', being simple lines and colour patches with not much detail.…

By using bright colours and graphical techniques he creates new beauty, crystallized in acrylic paintings and digital pictures. Beauty to fall in love with. The images are always figurative but due to the usage of colourful planes and accentuated lines they sometimes give an almost abstract outlook.
