About this artwork
The theme - the peaceful revolution of 1989 in the former GDR. The figures - triangles - reflect the wandering of the old political structures and the resulting unstoppable collapse of the old political system. The bright colors in the background show not only hope, but also the positive path into the future - into freedom - to the democratization of the social system of the former GDR and finally to the reunification of Germany.
