About this artwork
Philthy follows on from No Shelter and confirms the momentum towards a more raw direction in my work. An instinctive approach in which the design retains its initial momentum, enhanced by the color giving it a finished appearance. The interest that I have always taken in sketches, stronger in my opinion from an expressive point of view, takes on its full meaning in this series.
