This was captured at Osan, Korea, 1981. A typical food cart during the morning rush hour.
Photo was selenium toned and then hand tinted.
I use double weight fiber-based black and white paper to create my prints from old or new color negatives. Printed the "Classic Way"

Phillip Jones was born in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1962, he got his first camera at six. He attended his first photo workshop in 1970, it was a weeklong event. He learned so many techniques on how to compose a photo. The most important skill he mastered was how to manipulate and bend light. Jones always had a dream then, of owning his own Photo Studio.
Jones became a professional in 1980 after entering the U.S. Air Force. Studied the Great Masters of the past.
Jones is a photographer with decades of experience, deeply versed in both traditional darkroom practices and hand-tinting techniques. He masterfully manipulates color film and black-and-white fiber-based prints, employing a distinctive three-zone method to create rich tonal variations and subtle optical illusions. His classic, pragmatic style transforms reality, inviting viewers to perceive hidden beauty just beyond the visible. His images evoke peace and harmony, aiming to soothe and deeply move the soul. Never computer aids.
