About this artwork
This sculpture was born from a deep desire to explore the duality between human gentleness and mechanical strength. I used plaster to embody the fragility of the face, while metal evokes the complex and resilient internal structure. This work brings a calming and dynamic energy, inviting reflection on the harmony between vulnerability and power in our lives.

Phils is a French sculptor whose works have been exhibited in numerous group and solo events nationally. He describes his artistic motivation as originating from the need for achievement and the satisfaction of following his creative desire. Phils' figurative pieces are most often inspired by a posture that evokes an emotion within him. Once this is determined he seeks the right person from whom he makes a plaster cast. His compositions are created using both steel and plaster.
