About this artwork
BOB RAYO is a painting of emotional intensity. Everything in this piece spins, collapses, bursts, and reorganizes in the same space—as if a thought became a body, and that body was caught in mid-implosion.
The blue background provides visual stability, but not calm. The black strokes act like cracks or signs of rupture. The sinuous white line creates a path of escape or connection. Between them, warm tones (orange, red, earth) coexist with shadowy… greens and corals.
This work is a controlled discharge, a maneuver that doesn’t scream but resonates. A gesture of fracture and recomposition. A lightning strike turned inward.
