About this artwork
An homage to the late, great David Bowie. I have still to this day not been able to take his music off of repeat on my playlist since his passing. He has always been a hero of mine and a true trendsetter in many artistic and gender-bending realms. This piece, like with "Audrey: Larger Than Life", was painted with a metal ruler and is unique in it's bold and vibrant textures, colors, and movement. Almost every little piece of this painting is fun…
to look at from afar, or under the microscope. I hoped to capture some essence of the great Bowie and his ever "Changing" personas. Like Bowie himself, I hope this painting will add life and inspiration to any room that it is hung in. It can be a great muse for other creative types and musicians.
