About this artwork

This is a completely unique and original extra large abstract oil painting on canvas. It is a personal favorite of mine and was painted on a large, 60" x 48" (152.4 x 122 cm) , canvas and was painted with a swarm of color, energy and texture. It is part of a series of bold structures of color and texture, that are extremely emotive. In this piece, structures appear and overlap with bold force and vibrancy of color. This painting has amazing and extremely… thick texture. In fact, I encourage the collector to touch this piece as it is meant to be tactile as well as visual . This piece is huge and colorful and fills a large wall and modern space with energy and vibrant color. It is a show piece and one of my favorite paintings I have ever created. It is the culmination of many different styles and techniques I have been working to master.

Highlight: I created this whole piece. I built the stretcher bars, I stretched, primed and sanded the canvas before even starting on the painting.
