Rachel Mohawege, an award-winning painter based in Austria, has exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy and the United States. Her works are an ode to femininity and the modern woman, celebrating the inner Goddesses, life, and society, as she looks at the world with 'wide-open eyes'. Mohawege's contemporary portraits also contain elements of fantastic realism. She paints using acrylics, adding gold, silver, and metallic foil embellishments.
