About this artwork
Nefarious Poetry is inspired by life itself. It is pure poetry, but can also be wicked. And love that! This is painting is created by building up layer by layer of paint. It is a blend of acrylic, Gesso, spray paint, graffiti ink, acrylic marker and oil stick.
The painting is sort of painted in a childlike way. I love this kind of freedom to do whatever you feel like doing. Whether it is splashing paint or writing on canvas. It is the blend, the… experience and the road to the final artwork which is so beautiful. It is not only inspired by life itself, but also inspired by the moment. The things I hear and the thing I see on the moment I am painting are captured in the painting. I like to see this as a timestamp.
It is also partly abstract so the viewer sees there own experiences in the painting. The blend of bright colors gives a tremendously beautiful contrast with the darker parts of the painting. Some parts of the painting contains up to 20 layers of paint.
