About this artwork
I love this one! This painting is exhibited in Amsterdam, London, Luxembourg and a few more place and every time people saw it they had a little smile on their faces. That was exactly my goal with this painting. Funny, fantasy animals in an abstract environment. It is created with a lot of layers of paint, so the animals are very interesting to look at, cause you can't quite see it what order they are painting. Some parts are made of the first layer… and some of the 20th layer.
Also the bright colors brings a smile on peoples faces. It is mainly painted in a neo-expressionistic and pop art way, but I also added a semi-realistic tree frog to create a contrast in styles. The constant is also in the colors (warm/cold) and soft and hard lines.
It is painted with different kinds of acrylics, spray paints and graffiti ink. This piece is just a whole lotta fun and really brightens up a room!
