About this artwork
The picture shows a poppy flower that has been abstracted in its colors. The flower was actually lilac-colored and was unexpectedly in our garden one morning. Because it was not red, I was initially unable to assign it to a poppy flower and only gradually did I find out through herb books and online libraries that it was a poppy. Now this is growing in our 2nd generation and meanwhile it has also increased and it is a feast to look at it again and…
