Randy Pratt is a self-taught painter with a lifelong devotion to art, producing over 270 original works after a remarkable return to his brushes later in life. He explores abstract surrealism through automatism, freely allowing unconscious flows of color and form, and alternates the canvases' orientation for dynamic effect. His vibrant pieces evoke a sense of wonder and the joy of spontaneous self-expression, inviting viewers into his vivid inner world Randy Pratt (b. 1956, ) is a self-taught artist whose creative journey spans more than six decades. He began drawing and painting as a child and at age 11 won first place in a painting competition. He continued creating until age 26, when family responsibilities and a 40-year career as a master craftsman in the trades took precedence. In 2021, at age 65, he returned to the brush with renewed passion and has since produced over 270 original oil paintings.
