A flamenco dancer from Spain, whose name I unfortunately didn't remember, was the reason for carving this figure. She dances a modern version of flamenco, solo, accompanied by a tambourine.
The wood is root wood from a wild cherry tree. The surface treated with matting. This figure won a competition and was therefore shown in the “Firence Contemporary Art II” exhibition in 2022.
