About this artwork
Three male figures are playing with (or fighting over) a ball. It is the globe, and there is a certain resemblance between the figures and politicians, especially those who have distinguished themselves through populist or dictatorial attitudes.
This group of figures was created from a section of a cherry tree trunk. I generally don't publish my politically critical works because, in my opinion, art often becomes weaker when a particular statement… becomes too prominent. On the other hand, I want these works to be noticed. This is still relevant today.
