About this artwork
I am also a musician, and I was deeply affected when, at the beginning of the Corona lockdown, concerts no longer took place, colleagues no longer had the opportunity to perform and had to fear for their existence. The sculpture of the lonely musician emerged from this situation.
The figure is carved from reddish alder wood.
