About this artwork
In this work, I played with elements of pop art and the vintage aesthetic of Scrooge McDuck comics to create a kind of visual irony. I use acrylics, collage and a Dior paper bag to challenge and amuse. This playful diversion of a famous brand with its paper bag juxtaposed with a comic book universe highlights luxury consumption and the image of popular culture.
