About this artwork
In this work, I fused acrylics with collages and objects to capture the essence of youth and escapism through popular Marvel and DC superheroes. The vibrancy of pop art blends with comic book icons, evoking nostalgia and heroic reveries. Each element is a nod to eternal adolescence, inviting each viewer to escape the monotony of adulthood.
With a burning passion for the eclectic assemblage of collage or various objects, I create a universe similar… to an Ali Baba's cave, where each piece reveals a fascinating story and fuses elements with a skill comparable to that of a DJ mixing tracks to create a new melody.

Raphaële Jacob, after a career in advertising, now has twenty years of self-taught artistic experience. Employing drawing, acrylic spray paint, collage, and object assemblage, her art is reminiscent of Pop Art, with marked influences from comics.
