The Phantom Tide
This original painting, created in oils and acrylics, captures the haunting vision of a ghostly ship battling through a storm-tossed sea. Inspired by a wild day at Loop Head in County Clare, I was mesmerized by the crashing waves and swirling mist that seemed to conjure shapes from another world. From that moment of storm and imagination, the spectral vessel emerged — a phantom ship adrift between sea and sky. The dark palette, moonlit… tones, and textured brushwork evoke both movement and mystery, inviting you into a world where nature and legend collide. Painted by me under the name Raven Dubh
