About this artwork
When I was a child, we bought our peaches from a specific grove where the trees produced really sweet and flavorful peaches. I I like to visit this same peach grove every spring when the trees blossom. This year I happened to be there on an unusually gloomy day, which made the pink blossoms seem even brighter than usual. The trees in this grove are now old and their limbs extend in ways that make them feel like they're communicating with one another.…
This is what inspired the title of this piece.
