About this artwork
Geometry of Power is a work that reflects on dialogue as a political gesture, staged with visual force through dramatic minimalism. Two male figures, in black and white, emerge from a pure red background - a universal symbol of conflict, urgency and passion. The white border that surrounds them reinforces their isolation, making them almost icons of a negotiation or a silent clash.
The composition is static and theatrical, but full of symbolic… tension: every element, from the posture to the choice of colors, refers to recent history and the role of power in international relations. The work avoids direct references, leaving the viewer to interpret who the protagonists are - two men, two leaders, two worlds in comparison.
Printed on metal and plexiglass, the glossy surface enhances the contrast and gives the image a contemporary and timeless aura. The work lends itself both to private reflection and to a high-impact exhibition space.
My name is Reginaldo Albanese, professionally known as errealbanese. My artistic research explores the relationship between the sacred, identity, and image in an era in which the face no longer represents the individual, but rather the collective myth. I use digital technology as a revelatory medium: each work does not describe reality, but the fracture that generates it. I work in one-off editions on Dibond metal with a museum-quality plexiglass finish, and in some cases on wood with acrylic accents. My main series—Traghettamenti, Ritratti Impossibili, In Principio C'era il Corpo, Bang Fumetti d'Autore, Frammenti Sacri, Sovranità, and Maschere—explore the face as an icon, not an identity. I exhibit on Singulart with collectors in Europe, America, and Asia. I was selected for 100 Artists of Italy 2025 and awarded as a UK Artist—Top 10 London, with publication in L'Espresso. I believe that art does not reproduce the world: it questions it and re-establishes it.
