About this artwork
This artwork fuses pop art and surrealism with a touch of realism to create a powerful statement. Four blue gloves, each a symbol of individuality and community, hang from an invisible line representing our hidden connections. The use of a paper creation gives the piece a tactile texture that invites the viewer to question reality and gain a new perspective. This work is intended to bring dynamism and energy to any space while encouraging the exchange…
of ideas.

Rene Roeser, a creative photographer and digital artist, has more than 12 years of experience in redefining urban scenes. His technique involves capturing individual city elements and merging them digitally, always paying attention to economical use of color and realism. He constantly questions the boundary between truth and fiction through surrealism in order to provoke critical reflection and questioning of everyday architectural structures. For the viewer, this results in a subversive reversal of expectations. Although Roeser's subjects and interventions seem minimal and paradoxical, like stories without
beginning and end, they simultaneously focus on their realistic status and create
the chance of a new reality. This illusion ultimately aims at a confrontation with the
Expectation, reason and objectivity of the viewer.
