About this artwork
This is the second official volume in the Kinetic Orbit series (40x40 cm). The work continues the investigation into the collision between neoplastic geometric rigor and the stratification of matter, shifting the axes and chromatic weights of the composition.
On a textured stucco base, I layered a deep brick-red field and a vertical pillar of acid, textured yellow, crafted to bring out the memories and grooves of the urban landscape below. The… black grid delimits the areas of tension, acting like a geometric cage that attempts to restrain movement.
The visual fulcrum is the signature rectangle: a block of Pure Crimson Red, dense and glossy, which dominates the structure. Applied with thick brushstrokes that create a three-dimensional relief, the rectangle breaks the rigidity of the background, escaping the geometric lines to float towards the viewer.

I'm a self-taught painter, and what sets me apart is my free and instinctive use of color, which in my work is layered to create dense textures and crowded urban landscapes. I began with more spontaneous and light-hearted works, then evolved towards a more conscious and critical approach. At the same time, I explore abstraction with works inspired by Pollock and Rothko. My Cities are born from abstract foundations. The City as a complex organism that reflects the contradictions of our time. My series explore three great fragilities: the vulnerability of cities to climate change, the wounds inflicted by man through wars and manipulated ideologies, and the inequalities between glittering centers and forgotten peripheries. I paint universal, non-geographic cities as a metaphor for the human condition: places that bear the hopes, scars, and tensions of our time.
