About this artwork
**Phase Echo** explores the relationship between energy, tension, and transformation through a dialogue between sculptural texture and geometric precision.
Concentric microcement reliefs radiate from a deep burgundy resin sphere, while carefully tensioned threads extend across the surface, converging and expanding like waves moving through space.
The contrast between the raw, tactile microcement and the delicate linear structure creates a sense… of movement, balance, and suspended energy.
Part of the Resonance Series, Phase Echo invites viewers to experience the invisible forces that connect matter, space, and emotion.

Reza Arab is a multidisciplinary visual artist whose practice explores the intersection of material, geometry, architecture, and perception. Working with microcement, thread, textile, sculptural relief, and mixed media, he creates tactile wall-based works that move between painting and sculpture.
His current Resonance Series investigates repetition, tension, texture, and the transformation of surfaces through light and changing viewpoints. Architectural sensibilities and precise geometric structures are often contrasted with organic, hand-worked textures, allowing each piece to shift between control and spontaneity.
Arab’s practice is rooted in hands-on experimentation with materials and construction techniques. Rather than offering fixed narratives, his works invite quiet observation and personal interpretation, revealing new relationships between depth, shadow, rhythm, and space as the viewer’s perspective changes.
