STATE V – Condensed Core

In “HALTEZUSTAT V – Verdichteter Kern” (State of Equilibrium V – Condensed Core), tranquility and inner tension coalesce into an almost completely enclosed pictorial space. Subtle vertical shifts and transparent layers traverse the dark surface like fragile traces of a system in equilibrium.
The reduced color palette enhances the perception of depth, weight, and quiet… movement. Structures appear, dissolve again, and leave behind an atmosphere poised between stability and uncertainty.
The work is part of the series “HALTEUSTAT” (State of Holding), which deals with bound energy, internal pressure and the state shortly before a possible change.

While in STATIK movement is increasingly bound and brought into equilibrium, this development intensifies in HALTEZUSTAT:
Tension is no longer depicted, but rather maintained within the image space.
The reduced visual language uses material, layering and surface functionally – as carriers of energy.
The works explore the moment before movement: energy in balance, without being discharged.
