About this artwork
This is the third painting of a series of four works featuring the loverly bush walk situated in Paremoremo just out and north of Auckland City area, New Zealand. This reserve features some typical New Zealand bush native trees and follows a small stream. A great place to walk your dog or go for a stroll to get away from the busy city nearby. The particular time I walked the track, it was a hot summer's day and the play of light & shadowed areas…
through the bush canopy, was particularly dramatic and full of energy. I have attempted to convey this in this series of works.
