About this artwork
I painted this piece from 2000-2007 and has two titles Immigrant Dreams and 'In the Absence of Justice' The titles are the key to the imagery. I worked over an earlier painting creating patinas of history and paint, and revealing some of the imagery from the painting underneath. When traveling only some of our dreams are reveled, but build the foundation for our future
