About this artwork
This piece deals with the anger that one can feel in the face of confinement, whether physical or psychological. The capacity of the human being to contort, torn by its paradoxes giving way to this emotion which is sometimes so difficult to manage where one feels cornered.
The square represents the structure and order of the world, stability. This anger is therefore contained but it is nonetheless suffering. However, to live together we have to… manage all this agitation well, but what should we do when we ourselves are confined in a square? It's a story of Russian dolls.
